The Kings took a 1-0 lead 5:49 into the first period. Wayne Simmonds picked up the puck just inside the blue line in the Columbus zone, carried up the right side and beat Steve Mason with a wrist shot from just inside the right circle.

Mason’s gotta stop that. Rough year for him
Very nice pass by Modin.
DANG! That would have been SOOO sick by Brown!
slightly off topic but it’s gotta be said: as a person who watches on Center Ice, I’m going to carve my eyes out if i have to watch their Center Ice commercial one more time (“we may live in NY now but our seats are definitely center ice”) . they play that promo at least 20 times a game.
help. me.
@Shakes,
haha. yea that commercial is pretty annoying after seeing it 100 times
@Shakes,
same thing for NHL network.
@Shakes,
I hear you. I’m so beyond done with that ad. good thing for me is I’ve had to record the last few games, so I get to just fast forward through them.
To quote the commercial, “This is just wrong”
every time they air that commercial an angel loses its wings
I always thought Nick sounded like Bob.They even have the same style of play call.It seems fitting that he’s calling the game.
Simmonds’s coming to the defense of Richardson after scoring a goal….I think I have a mancrush on this guy
@Shakes,
Hopefully not a Southern California/Anaheim/Los Angeles Angel of Anaheim angel!
@Dominick,
Agree! Just wonder, though… Nick doesn’t look like he sounds.
@Shakes, Funny to see that commercial on center Ice while watching center Ice,since I already paid for it.
YEAH…DOUGHNUTS!!!
DD!!!! WHOOOO HOOOO!!!
Alrighty then!
Back on a roll, boys!
@Dominick,
They are doing it a lot this past week because Center Ice is free for the week.
