It was a lucky goal that NJ scored but the Kings were lucky they’re only down one after being totally dominated in that first period.
Slowly but surely Kings are coming back … I can feel it.

Well, Atleast the NJ guys said teams that start off tired tend to wake up in the 2nd. I’ll go ahead and take their word for it. Only down by 1. 40 min left. Plenty of time.
Getting beat on most of the faceoffs, which is another sign of tiredness. Just have to hang close and hope for some breaks. Oscar needs to bury one, be rewarded for all the bangs he takes.

The neutral zone has been dominated by NJ, we need to make quicker cleaner passes so we can start the offense. I also like the NJ announcers mentioning how dangerous Kopi is every time he touches the puck.
Despite the Kings incredible, unbeaten record when leading going into the 3rd, I feel like the 2nd period has been their best all season long.
I like that Purcell is in today while Waddell is in the building…hopefully TP can show something and ATL will take him off our hands for us.

NJ came out hard and aggressive.
