Just was lookin for something online to pass the between periods and I noticed the KHL uses the 3pt for a regulation win, 2 for a OT win and 1 for an OT loss point system. It just makes more sense (even tho it would be hurting the Kings if in place this year), but I do agree the current 2pt sometimes 3pt games is keeping a lot of teams in contention and from the league aspect thats a good thing.
